West Virginia has made an offer to linebacker Monty Montgomery from Louisville.
Montgomery is a graduate transfer, who entered the transfer portal yesterday, and within two hours of announcing his entrance into the portal, announced he had received an offer from WVU.
Montgomery has been at Louisville since 2019, playing in at least 10 games in three of the last four seasons. In his 35 career games played, Montgomery has 160 tackles, 23.5 TFL, 15 sacks and three interceptions. This past season was Montgomery’s most successful yet, as he had six sacks, and 70 total tackles.
Montgomery is originally from Norcross, Georgia.
