WVU makes offer to Penn State LB in transfer portal

West Virginia has made an offer to Penn State linebacker Jamari Buddin in the transfer portal.

Buddin is a linebacker from Ypsilanti, Michigan. He just completed his redshirt-freshman season after using his redshirt in 2021.

Buddin played in nine games this year for Penn State, finishing with 8.0 tackles, 1.5 TFL’s, and a fumble recovery.

The 6-foot-2, 216-pound linebacker entered the transfer portal on Jan. 12, saying “after reflecting on my time here at Penn State, it is in my best interest that I enter the transfer portal.” Buddin will have three years of eligibility remaining.
