Former NC State wide receiver Devin Carter has announced his commitment to the Mountaineers.
Carter took to Twitter to announce his decision, tagging new West Virginia wide receivers coach Bilal Marshall. Carter had previously said he would play for Penn State following the Nittany Lions’ win over Utah in the Rose Bowl, but on Wednesday announced his commitment to West Virginia.
Carter is an experienced receiver, who has been at NC State since 2018. This past season he had 25 catches for 406 yards and two touchdowns. Carter in his career has played in 40 games, catching 93 passes for 1,500 yards, and eight touchdowns.
