The Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks squared off Monday night in what to most was a meaningless regular season NBA game. For Wes tVirginia basketball though, it was former Mountaineers Miles ‘Deuce’ McBride of the Knicks and Jevon Carter of the Bucks facing each other.
Carter spent four years at WVU before graduating in 2018. Carter, who is having a career year with the Bucks so far this season saw the floor for 19 minutes last night but was unable to score. He also picked up a rebound and an assist.
McBride is also seeing an increased role with the Knicks this year. On Monday, McBride scored three points in 14 minutes, while also having an assist and a steal.
On the season, McBride is averaging just above 14 minutes per game, as well as 4.0 points per game in 29 games played this season. Carter is averaging 25 minutes per game this year, while shooting 39.7 percent from the field, as well as 2.9 assists per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, and 1.1 steals per game.
