On Thursday, West Virginia announced they added Aden Nelson to their 2023 recruiting class, a day after the early signing period opened.
Nelson is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety, who is from Versailles, Kentucky.
Nelson played both sides of the ball for Woodford County High School, but on defense he had 56 tackles, including 44 solo stops, two sacks, four tackles for loss and three interceptions.
Nelson previously had verbally committed to Ball State University but de-committed in September.
