WVU 2022 National Signing Day Tracker

On Wednesday, Dec. 21, the early signing period will open allowing high school recruits to sign their Letter of Intent with a college. Heading into Wednesday West Virginia has 20 verbal commitments and is in the running for multiple other recruits. Follow along for the list of recruits committing to Neal Brown and West Virginia.

Traylon Ray
Ray is a wide receiver from Florida, and brings size and versatility to the wide receiver position. Ray had 70 receptions for 1,236 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. Ray also played defensive back this past season, finishing with 37 tackles, four tackles for loss, six interceptions and seven pass breakups. Ray has the ability to return kicks on special teams.

Rodney Gallagher
Gallagher is West Virginia’s highest-rated recruit in this year’s cycle and he has put pen to paper to sign with West Virginia. Gallagher is a wide receiver but played quarterback as a senior, passing for 1,272 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also had 690 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground, as well as catching 13 passes for 77 yards and four touchdowns.

DJ Oliver
Oliver is a running back who committed to WVU earlier this week. A 5-foot-11, 240-pound back, Oliver will bring size and explosive ability to WVU’s backfield. Oliver is a three-star recruit from Port Saint Joe, Florida, and this year he finished with 983 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 12.93 yards per carry.

Oryend Fisher
Fisher is an EDGE rusher who brings lot of size to WVU at 6-foot-6. Fisher had 84 tackles and 11.5 sacks this season as a senior. Fisher is from Georgetown, Kentucky.

Josiah Trotter
Josiah Trotter is another linebacker in this class. Listed at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds, Trotter is from Philadelphia. Trotter finished with 75 tackles, two forced fumbles, three sacks and an interception as a senior.

Cooper Young
Young is another offensive lineman in this class, listed at 6-foot-5, 305 pounds. Young is from Downington, Pennsylvania, and this year he was named All-Ches-Mont League First Team (OL) and second team (DL).

Jahiem White
White is a running back from Pennsylvania who is super talented and has the stats to back it up. White, a 5-foot-9, 190-pound back had 1,918 yards and 37 touchdowns this season on the ground as well as 33 catches for 428 yards.

James Heard
Another LB is added to this class, this time with the addition of James Heard. Heard is a linebacker from New Jersey, and is listed at 6-foot-2, 218 pounds. As a senior, Heard had 38 tackles, 18 sacks and three forced fumbles.

Ben Cutter
Another LB signee in this class is Ben Cutter. Cutter is a three-star linebacker from East Lincoln High School in North Carolina. Cutter is listed at 6-foot-1, 210 pounds and 587 total tackles in his high school career.

Zachariah Keith
Keith was one of the more recent verbal commitments for WVU, but he has officially signed. A defensive end, Keith has the size to translate to the Power Five level. Listed at 6-foot-5, 243 pounds, Keith certainly will have the ability to develop into a good pass rusher.

Nick Krahe
The first offensive lineman to officially commit in this class is Nick Krahe. Krahe is a three-star lineman from Pennsylvania and is listed at 6-foot-5, 285 pounds. Krahe went to Harbor Creek High School.

Noah Braham
The Morgantown kid is staying home. Braham has officially committed to the Mountaineers. From University High, Braham is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker, who is a three-star recruit. Braham is signing as a tight end.

Tory Johnson JR
Johnson is listed as an ATH, but has lots of experience at wide receiver. Johnson is a three-star recruit from Virginia and held offers from Maryland, Pitt, and Virginia.

Sean Boyle
The lone quarterback in this class, Boyle has officially signed with the Mountaineers. A three-star product, Boyle is from North Carolina.

Jordan Jackson
Jackson is the brother of Josiah Jackson and they both are coming to WVU. Jordan is also a cornerback, listed at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds.

Josiah Jackson
Jackson is a cornerback from Fairfield, Ohio. Jackson is 6-foot-1, 175 pounds and will play a lot of corner for WVU.
