The transfer portal hits continue for West Virginia as this time, offensive lineman Chris Mayo has decided to enter the transfer portal.
The New Jersey native, Mayo, did not play in 2020 and then redshirted in 2021. Mayo only got in the game against FCS foe Towson this past season for the Mountaineers.
“I’d like to thank the state of West Virginia for being a driving and motivating force to be the best athlete, student, and person I could be,” Mayo said.
The Mountaineers’ total number of transfers is now up to 15 since the early transfer window opened.
