West Virginia wide receiver Kaden Prather is entering the transfer portal he announced on Monday.
Prather, a sophomore wide receiver from Maryland announced his plans on Twitter.
“I would like to thank the great state of West Virginia and all Mountaineer fans for their hospitality over the years,” Prather said. “I will be doing what’s best for me and entering the transfer portal. Please respect my decision.”
Prather had a breakout year for the Mountaineers, catching 52 passes for 501 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games.
Prather joins JT Daniels as the highest profile Mountaineers to enter the transfer portal, while he joins fellow receivers Bryce Ford-Wheaton and Sam James to leave WVU from this past season as they entered the NFL Draft.
