Kent State cornerback transfer Montre Miller has listed West Virginia as one of his final three landing spots.
Miller, who entered the transfer portal on Dec. 2, and then received an offer from WVU on the same day. Miller, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound corner from South Carolina has spent the last five seasons at Kent State.
Miller redshirted in 2018 as he appeared in only one game. In his career he has appeared in 34 games, registering 116 total tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and six interceptions.
Miller on Sunday announced West Virginia had made his top three, along with Wake Forest and Duke. Miller took a visit to Morgantown this weekend.
Miller would be a veteran addition to the WVU secondary which struggled this past season.
