Mike O’Laughlin’s 2022 season ended early due to another season-ending injury.
O’Laughlin who had been with WVU since 2018, suffered another knee injury which again prematurely ended his season.
In four seasons of play, O’Laughlin played in 32 games for West Virginia, catching 37 passes for 292 yards and a touchdown.
“To the great fans of West Virginia, you are amazing and provided an electric environment to play for,” O’Laughlin said. “As in life, change happens, it’s time for me to turn the page of my WVU career.”
The Illinois native will be looking for a new home, entering the transfer portal.
