West Virginia quarterback JT Daniels will be heading to his fourth school of his collegiate career.
The former USC and Georgia quarterback came to WVU this past offseason, and won the starting quarterback job. Daniels played in 10 games for the Mountaineers this season, passing for 2,107 yards, 13 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
Daniels was benched for Garrett Greene in West Virginia’s game against Oklahoma, and he would not step foot back on the field for the Mountaineers.
Daniels was a two-time starter at USC and Georgia, after being a five-star recruit out of high school. Daniels has dealt with injuries in the past, with his 10 games he played this season being the most he’s played since 2018.
Daniels will have at least on year of eligibility remaining, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel who broke the news.
