West Virginia rifle is back on top.
The 19-time national champions have regained their status atop the CRCA poll, as they are ranked first in the latest CRCA Rifle Poll.
The Mountaineers closed their fall slate at 10-1, including 5-0 in conference action. At the WVU Fall Classic, the Mountaineers defeated No. 1 Kentucky, No. 2 Alaska-Fairbanks, and No. 3 TCU. The Mountaineers then beat No. 14 Army and No. 11 NC State.
West Virginia’s next action will be in January, when they travel to Alaska to face Alaska-Fairbanks twice, Kentucky, and Georgia Southern.
The top five of the rankings are No. 1 West Virginia, No. 2 Alaska-Fairbanks, No. 3 Kentucky, and Ole Miss and TCU are tied for fourth.
