West Virginia will close their home slate for 2022, when they host Kansas State on Saturday.
The Mountaineers will be wearing traditional colors, but in a unique way.
West Virginia will wear gold helmets, with blue jerseys and blue pants. The Mountaineers have worn this combination before — 2014 against Oklahoma, and 2015 against Georgia Southern.
The Mountaineers will look to stay alive with concern to bowl eligibility, and will look to defeat the top-15 Wildcats at 2 p.m. on Saturday from Milan Puskar Stadium.
