In a hectic morning for the future of West Virginia athletics, headlined by the resignation of Athletic Director Shane Lyons, former Mountaineer Pat McAfee offered his input on the situation.
Lyons, who served as the AD at WVU since 2015, resigned on Monday, with mounting pressure from the university.
McAfee took to Twitter on Monday, to express his thoughts on the situation.
McAfee said this move is a “very solid” move for WVU, adding he is “excited to see if WVU can regain some notoriety nationally.”
