True freshman defensive back Mumu Bin-Wahad has entered his name into the transfer portal.
After enrolling in January of this year, the Atlanta nativesaw action in five games this season for West Virginia, due to multiple injuries in the WVU secondary.
Bin-Wahad took to Twitter to make the announcement saying,”I appreciate the fans of West Virginia allowing me to represent them. Y’all are one of kind and truly support the blue and gold.”
Bin-Wahad would add, “Transitioning from high school to the Big 12 isn’t easy but you guys helped me get my body ready to perform. I would like to thank the coaches for recruiting me. With that being said I plan to enter the transfer portal with 3 1/2 years of eligibility left.”
Bin-Wahad finished with four total tackles in five games played this season.
