West Virginia goalkeeper Kayza Massey was one of two goalkeepers win the Big 12 awarded the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Year.
Massey, is the first Mountaineer to earn this award and was also named to the All-Big 12 First Team. Massey started all 19 matches for West Virginia this season, and finished with seven shutouts. Massey currently has 63 saves on the year and her 134 total saves ranks seventh all-time program history.
Massey is the first goalkeeper of the year in program history to be given this award, and she is the first Mountaineer player since Jordan Brewster in 2020 to be named conference player of the year.
