Five Mountaineers were named to the All-Big 12 Soccer Teams, with goalkeeper Kayza Massey also being named the Big 12 Co-Goalkeeper of the Year.
Massey along with defender Jordan Brewster were first team selections. Brewster holds the program record for career starts, and had two goals along with an assist this season. Massey started every match this season for the Mountaineers and had seven shutouts this year.
The other three Mountaineers named All-Big 12 selections were named to the All-Big 12 Second Team. Defender Gabrielle Robison, forward Dilary Heredia-Beltran, along with midfielder AJ Rodriguez were named to the second team.
Robinson started every match this season and added a goal. She is from Springfield, Virginia, and has been a huge help to this West Virginia defense.
Heredia-Beltran, also started all 19 matches this season, finishing with 11 points which ranks first on West Virginia this season. She started 18 of the 19 games played and had two goals on the year.
Rodriguez, a native of Austin, Texas, leads West Virginia in goals this season. She found the back of the net five times and finished with 10 points on the season.
Since joining the Big 12 in 2012, West Virginia has 78 athletes be named All-Big 12.
