The 2-2 West Virginia Mountaineers have released the uniforms for game five against the Texas Longhorns.
The Mountaineers will be dawning the blue helmet, white jersey, and blue pants look.
This is a popular combination for West Virginia, as the Mountaineers typically wear it on a yearly basis.
WVU has worn the blue, white, blue combination for some of its greatest moments, and those are as follows:
- 2006 Nokia Sugar Bowl vs. No. 8 Georgia (38-35 WVU)
- 2007 Toyota Gator Bow vs. Georgia Tech (38-35 WVU)
- 2008 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl vs. No. 4 Oklahoma (48-48 WVU)
West Virginia also wore this combination in its last win at Texas, when Will Grier and Gary Jennings broke the hearts of Longhorns fans in the final minutes back in 2018.
