As NFL teams had to cut their rosters down to 53 players on Tuesday, many cuts were made.
One of those cuts was of former West Virginia quarterback Will Grier of the Dallas Cowboys. Grier played in two games this preseason for the Cowboys, passing for a combined 186 yards and two touchdowns in those two appearances.
Grier has a chance of coming back to the Cowboys’ practice squad as he cleared waivers after being released.
