With just over a month until West Virginia kicks off their 2022 football season, the Mountaineers presumed starting quarterback is already getting some national attention.
JT Daniels, a former five-star quarterback, and transfer from Georgia, has been named to the 2022 Walter Camp Player of the Year Award Preseason Watchlist.
Daniels, is one of 52 players on the watchlist, which includes 44 offensive players and 22 quarterbacks. The Walter Camp Award is the fourth-oldest award in college football.
