The West Virginia alumni team Best Virginia, has picked former Mountaineer Teyvon Myers to fill in their final roster spot for The Basketball Tournament.
“Teyvon brings the juice on whatever team he is on. He is one of the most energetic guys I have been around,” Head Coach James Long said. “He’s definitely one of the most elite scorers that I have played with or been around. All in all, he is a guy that is going to help us as a basketball player and from an energy standpoint. We are lucky to have ‘Tey Dolla’ join Best Virginia!”
Myers came to WVU in 2015, helping establish what was known as ‘Press Virginia.’ Myers was on the team that went to the Sweet 16 in 2017, and has played across the globe after leaving the Mountaineers. Myers also appeared for Best Virginia last summer, in their first ever TBT appearance.
Myers joins a roster which includes John Flowers, Kevin Jones, Jaysean Paige, Jamel Morris, Tanner McGrew, D’Angelo Hunter, Jermaine Haley, Devin Ebanks, Juwan Staten, and Teyvon Myers.
Best Virginia gets going from TBT this weekend, with their first game coming on Sunday against Virginia Dream.
