2022 Big 12 Football Media Days Schedule

Wednesday, July 13 marks the first official day of the 2022 football season for the Big 12 conference. Big 12 media days takes place over the course of two days at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The two-day event is livestreamed on ESPN+ and gives both media and fans a first glimpse at the conference and its teams for the upcoming season.

This year’s media days will be marked by an opening statement from the incoming new Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark. Yormark officially takes over for outgoing commissioner Bob Bowlsby effective August 1, with the two days in Arlington being Yormark’s first unofficial days on the job.

Following Yormark’s opening statements, Baylor President Linda Livingstone and coordinator of officials Greg Burks will address the crowd before the current Big 12 coaches take the stage; spread out over both Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday (all times ET):
  • 11:35 a.m.: Dave Aranda (Baylor)
  • 12:05 p.m.: Lance Leipold (Kansas)
  • 12:35 p.m.: Neal Brown (West Virginia)
  • 1:05 p.m.: Chris Klieman (Kansas State)
  • 1:35 p.m.: Mike Gundy (Oklahoma State)
Thursday:
  • 11:35 a.m.: Brent Venables (Oklahoma)
  • 12:05 p.m.: Joey McGuire (Texas Tech)
  • 12:35 p.m.: Matt Campbell (Iowa State)
  • 1:05 p.m.: Sonny Dykes (TCU)
  • 1:35 p.m.: Steve Sarkisian (Texas)
