After another winning week the Mountaineers continue to climb national baseball rankings. This week they went 3-1 with a three-game sweep against UCF and losing a close battle against Penn State on Tuesday.
D1 baseball rankings bumped the Mountaineers up one spot this week going from No.17 to No. 16 now.
Perfect Game has West Virginia at No. 4 in their rankings this week. They were previously No. 9 in their rankings.
Baseball America has them ranked at No. 8 after having them ranked No. 14 last week.
The Mountaineers have another busy week as they take on Marshall on Wednesday in Charleston before having a three game home series against Texas Tech starting on Friday.
