Daveon Walker has officially re-opened his commitment and will not be joining the Mountaineers in 2025.
Walker is a 6-foot-2 wide receiver who recorded 19 catches for 331 yards last year for Butler Community College. He started his career at Vanderbilt but didn’t see the field in either of his first two seasons there and transferred out of Vanderbilt to Butler Community College.
After committing to WVU just under a week ago on Jan. 11th, Walker has since changed his mind and decided to enter his name back into the transfer portal.
