No. 6 West Virginia women’s basketball won their first game of the weekend in Kansas City on Friday night, beating No. 11 Cincinnati, 70-55.
Now the Mountaineers turn their attention to a formidable No. 3 Kansas State squad on Saturday night.
WVU and Kansas State played one time this season, with WVU falling in overtime. The Mountaineers and Wildcats are set to tip-off at 9:00 p.m. EST Saturday night, with the game set to be televised on ESPN+.
WVU finished in a three-way tie for fourth place in the Big 12, while Kansas State finished in third place.
The winner of this game advances to the Big 12 semifinals on Monday, facing either Texas or Kansas.
