West Virginia men’s basketball forward Jesse Edwards was selected as a Presseason All-Big 12 Honorable Mention selection.
The Big 12 Conference released their preseason awards for the 2023-2024 season, and the Syracuse transfer was the only Mountaineer listed in the preseason awards. Edwards 14.5 points per game and 10.3 reboudns per game in 32 games played for Syracuse last season.
Kansas’ Hunter Dickinson was tabbed the Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year, and it’s of note that former Mountaineer and current Baylor forward Jalen Bridges was named an Honorable Mention selection as well.
