Former Mountaineer finds new home at Florida State

Former Mountaineer Noah Short announced on Saturday he will be continuing his collegiate career at Florida State.

Short set the West Virginia program record for career appearances with 76 career appearances. Short finished with a 3.65 ERA across 12.1 innings pitched this season. In his career, Short has totaled 72.2 innings pitched, with 89 strikeouts, and a 3.34 ERA.

Short is from Scott Depot, West Virginia, attending Hurricane High School and spent one season at Morehead State in 2019 where he redshirted.
