The odds for who will be crown the NCAA Baseball National Champion have been released, and West Virginia ranks within the top-20 according to one sports book.
Circa Sports released their odds for the winner of the Men’s College World Series, and the Mountaineers are +5000 to win it all. This ranks tied for the 10th-best odds overall, and is ranked at 16th.
There are three other teams at +5000 including Texas, Kentucky, and Southern Miss. Kentucky is the host of the Lexington Regional in which the Mountaineers are a two-seed.
Wake Forest — the number one overall seed — has the best odds at +350.
DraftKings is not as kind to the Mountaineers, giving them +9000 odds to be the last team standing in late June. West Virginia has the 27th-best odds, tied with Texas Tech. DraftKings also has West Virginia as the early favorite to win their Friday matchup against Indiana at -150 to win the game.
West Virginia’s first round game in the NCAA Tournament is against Indiana on Friday at 7 p.m., with the game being televised on ESPN+.
