West Virginia is set to host No. 15 Kansas State in their home finale on Saturday, from Milan Puskar Stadium, in Morgantown.
The Mountaineers are coming off a 23-20 win against Oklahoma, while they look to remain in contention for bowl eligibility. Kansas State is trying to clinch a spot in the Big 12 Championship. as they currently sit at second in the conference.
Our staff gives their predictions for the game:
Ashley O’Brien: The Mountaineers are coming off the first win over Oklahoma since 2008 and welcoming in the Kansas State Wildcats to Morgantown. Senior Day, a not-noon kickoff and a Kansas State team that’s been riding high all season; recipe for an upset.

Wesley Shoemaker: Senior Day has arrived in Morgantown, and for the second-straight season, West Virginia will have to win in order to still have a chance at bowl eligibility. The Mountaineers beat Oklahoma for the first time in more than a decade last Saturday, winning in somewhat ugly fashion. It will be a cold afternoon in Morgantown, and I think that favors Kansas State and their running game. Deuce Vaugh is electric and he should shine. The Mountaineers would be silly not to go with quarterback Garrett Greene… right… but I just think the Wildcats have too much to play for. Expect Dante Stills to shine, but the K-State offense will pull away late.

Aaron Parker: For WVU’s last home game of the season, I expect the Mountaineers to come ready to play and ready to win. Kansas State has impressed me this year, as the Wildcats nearly took down TCU, and have won games even with quarterback Adrian Martinez not always playing. However, I think the Mountaineer offense will pick up where they left off, and I think Garrett Greene will be utilized again. With WVU needing to win out to make a bowl game, I think they will live to fight another day, and will pull off the upset against Kansas State.
West Virginia 34, Kansas State 21
Matt Natriello: Coming off a win against Oklahoma I think WVU will carry that moment into this game against Kansas State. If we try to utilize Garett Greene more and our defense can hold there ground I think WVU has a good shot.
West Virginia 27 Kansas State 20
Tyler Prusina: Coming off a win against Oklahoma I think WVU will carry that moment into this game against Kansas State. If we try to utilize Garett Greene more and our defense can hold there ground I think WVU has a good shot.
