Former NDSU linebacker commits to WVU for final season

North Dakota State University transfer Jasir Cox announced his commitment to WVU on Twitter Monday morning.

The 6’1” linebacker started 14 games for the NDSU Bisons in the 2021 season and was named to the All-Missouri Valley Football Conference Second Team. Cox finished his senior year as the Bison’s third leading tackler, totaling 58 tackles and three interceptions in 2021.
Cox will have one year of eligibility and will compete for a key spot on the Mountaineers’ defense.
