27 Mountaineers set to depart Morgantown after spring practice

According to 247Sports, 27 Mountaineers have been cut or entered the transfer portal following spring practice. Many of them haven’t been in Morgantown for more than a couple of months.

The list of departures includes names like tight end Johnny Pascuzzi, wide receiver Dom Collins, offensive lineman Justin Terry, running back LJ Turner and many more.

On the defensive side players like defensive back Sammy Etienne, Linebacker Aydin Fleming, Bandit Obinna Onweka, safety Nasai Bell and defensive lineman Elijah Kinsler will not be returning.

Two specialists, kicker/punter Casey Stanley and kicker/punter Luke Savino, will also not return to Morgantown.

With the max roster size being cut to 105 from 120 last season, Rich Rodriguez made it clear during multiple press conferences that there would have to be space made following their spring season.
