West Virginia capped off an 8-4 season with a 34-31 road win against Baylor. It wasn’t always pretty and West Virginia was outplayed for much of the second half, but they managed to get the job done.
But how did the individual players grade out?

Offense
- QB Garrett Greene: 85.3 (65 snaps)

This week, Garrett Greene once again led the offensive PFF grades. He had over 100 rushing yards and four total touchdowns, with one being the game winner in the final minute to Jahiem White. PFF credited him with having seven big time throws to two turnover worthy plays.
Zach Frazier had a strong performance in what may have been his final collegiate game. He led the team with a 74.5 run blocking grade prior to exiting with an injury on the final drive for the offense.
Jahiem White had another strong performance, leading the team with a 73.2 rushing grade.
Hudson Clement had his highest graded game against FBS competition this season. He led the team with 80 receiving yards on the night.
Wyatt Milum led the team with an 89.1 pass blocking grade but a 54.0 run blocking grade hurts his overall grade. The team as a whole had its highest graded pass blocking performance since the Oklahoma State game.
Devin Carter played a season-low four snaps and has now been credited with not starting for the second consecutive game.

The defense according to the PFF data had 14 pressures, 10 quarterback hurries, three sacks, 11 missed tackles, one pass breakup, and two penalties.
Hershey McLaurin led the defensive PFF grades for this week. He led the team with 82.1 tackling and 79.9 coverage grades, where he had six combined tackles without missing any and only allowing two catches for nine yards in coverage.
Jared Bartlett had his highest graded game against FBS competition this season. He was credited with having his first sack since the Houston game.
Marcis Floyd led the team with an 80.5 grade in run defense. He led the team with 10 combined tackles, with six of them being defensive stops, and also had the team’s lone pass breakup.
Aubrey Burks led the team with a 71.0 pass rushing grade as a safety. He had one of the team’s three sacks on the night.
Malachi Ruffin had a quiet performance, allowing a team-high 56 receiving yards in coverage and allowed the team’s lone touchdown in coverage.
Sean Martin led the team with three pressures but didn’t grade out well in run defense or in tackling, where he had 53.5 and 27.4 marks respectively.
Ben Cutter was credited with missing a team-high four tackles, which was his most in a game this season.
