Joe Toussaint enters transfer portal

Two of West Virginia’s point guards slated to be on the roster in 2023-2024 have entered the transfer portal as Joe Toussaint joined Kerr Kriisa as entries into the transfer portal.

Toussaint, who was entering his final year of eligibility had somewhat of a breakout year after transferring from Iowa. Toussaint averaged 9.4 points per game and was the most reliable bench option last year for West Virginia. Toussaint also was able to hound opposing guards on defense and was used a lot down the stretch in games last year.

Toussaint is the third Mountaineer to enter the portal since last night, joining Kriisa and Tre Mitchell.

Jon Rothstein first reported Toussaint entering the portal.
