WVU announces uniforms for “True Blue” game against Oklahoma

The West Virginia Mountaineers have announced their uniforms for game 10 against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The Mountaineers will be wearing their “all blue” look, but with a twist.

With Veteran’s Day on Friday, WVU will have special helmet decals that feature the American Flag inside the state of West Virginia. To go with the special helmets, WVU will complete the “true blue” combination with blue jerseys and blue pants.

The Mountaineers have worn this specific combination two times. The first came in a 38-17 home loss to Texas Tech in 2019, and the second time came in the 2020 AutoZone Liberty Bowl where the Mountaineers defeated Army 24-21.

Oklahoma will be wearing its special “rough rider” uniforms that feature a special helmet and number font.

West Virginia and Oklahoma will kick off a noon from Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, WV.
