In a matchup between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the St. Louis Cardinals, WVU alumni Victor Scott II showed his talents.
Scott went 2-5 at the plate including a two RBI triple off former Rookie of the Year, Paul Skenes in the top of the third and a double off Chase Shugart later in the game.
Scott has shown his talents in his second season for the Cardinals, appearing in 10 games so far with a .297 batting average and seven RBIs.
The centerfielder looks to keep the momentum going as he continues his sophomore season in the MLB.
