College basketball analyst Joe Lunardi bumped West Virginia to a 9-seed in the Big 12 and No. 36 overall headed into the final stretch of their season.
West Virginia sits behind BYU who they will face Saturday evening at 10 p.m. ET. The Mountaineers’ hopes remain high for post-season play as they will need to win two of the remaining three games to secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
