According to college football reporter Matt Zenitz, West Virginia is expected to name Oklahoma Assitant General Manager Chuck Lille as the next General Manager of WVU football.
Chuck Lille spent only the 2024 season serving as Oklahoma’s assistant general manager. Before that, he spent four years working in the personnel department for Kansas.
Lille is expected to take over the Mountaineers’ general manager position, serving in roster management, recruiting, transfer portal, NIL, and player retention. West Virginia’s previous general manager under Neal Brown was Drew Fabianich, who was let go.
The Mountaineers are starting to close in on a finalized staff going into the 2025 season. Many key positions are beginning to be filled as the 2024-2025 season comes to a close.
