West Virginia transfer runningback CJ Donaldson officially signed with Ohio State on Monday, Donaldson and the university announced.
Donaldson was originally recruited as a tight end before quickly switching to runningback and making an impact his freshman year. In 2022, he rushed for 526 yards and eight touchdowns before a season-ending leg injury.
Donaldson remained consistent for the Mountaineers in his last two seasons. In his career with WVU, he rushed for 30 touchdowns and over 2,000 yards.
The Miami native will join an Ohio State team next season that is currently on to the quarterfinal of the college football playoffs.
