West Virginia earns unseeded bid to NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship

2023 College Cup semifinalist WVU is officially back at the NCAA Tournament this season.

With one loss on the season and Sunday’s Sun Belt Conference Championship victory over Marshall, the Mountaineers still did not grab a seed in this year’s tournament. They instead received a first round match against North Florida.

Marshall entered the Sun Belt Championship ranked at No. 8 compared to No. 10 West Virginia but fell to the tournament’s 13 seed after the conference championship loss.

WVU’s first NCAA Tournament match will be on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. in Morgantown.
