In between rivalry matchups against Penn State and at Pittsburgh, WVU Football will play its second game of the season against the Albany Great Danes.
Albany will be West Virginia’s only opponent from outside of the Football Bowl Subdivision this season. Pressure will be off of West Virginia nationally, with less TV and streaming coverage, but the game will be viewable for those keeping an eye on WVU after its 34-12 loss to Penn State. The Great Danes are 1-0 after making the FCS National Semifinal last season.
