West Virginia baseball alum Tevin Tucker walked it off Wednesday night for the Fresno Grizzlies, the Colorado Rockies single-a affiliate.
Tucker was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Rockies in 2023. In 2024, the shortstop is hitting .192 with 20 RBIs, 12 stolen bases and three home runs. He played for WVU from 2019-2023 and was an All-Big 12 honorable mention in his final season. The Grizzlies defeated the Stockton Ports, the Oakland Athletics affiliate, in the 10th inning after Tucker’s game-winning hit.
