It’s been 11 long years since EA Sports had created a college football video game, and what felt like three longer years since the company announced the game’s return. But on Monday afternoon, the game had finally returned for those that preordered the deluxe version of the game.
It is hard to sum up the general public’s reaction and thoughts about a game that has been so highly anticipated. You will always find some that have bad experiences and too high of expectations, but this game truly seems different. There are not too many people that can be found who have played the game and not liked it.
WVU fans have gotten all new view of Mountaineer field and gotten to control the upcoming 2025 roster including playing with a dynamic and fast offense.
Former Mountaineer Pat McAfee has been waiting for the game’s release and publicly talking about his excitement to use Garrett Greene to “run wild” with the quarterback. Well, McAfee finally got to experience what he has been waiting for in his recent X post while using the Mountaineers in game.
It is hard to describe just how great this game has been and how little complaints people have had about it to this point. All that needs to be said is that childhoods have been restored and created for an audience that stretches generations. This game did not disappoint.
The game is set to release to everyone who did not preorder the game on Friday.
