2024-25 Big 12 Membership Has 50 Selected In MLB Draft

All 14 2024-25 Big 12 members saw at least one player drafted in the 2025 MLB Draft, as a total of 50 players were selected by Major League Baseball organizations. It was the most picks for the Big 12 since the 2011 season and the most since the draft moved to its current 20-round length in 2021.

The Draft was highlighted by four picks on Sunday, including three in the first round, followed by 25 on Monday and another 21 on Tuesday. Incoming members Arizona, Arizona State and Utah combined for 11 selections.

Oklahoma State’s eight selections were the most among the 2024-25 members.
