WVU guard Noah Farrakhan has officially entered the transfer portal, he announced.
Farrakhan, who spent one season at WVU, released a statement thanking the coaching staff at WVU, while also talking about his future.
“My time as a student athlete in Morgantown has been enriching, both on and off the basketball court,” Farrakhan said.
He later added, “I owe a tremendous thank you to the fans in Morgantown for their unwavering support and passion which have made my experience unforgettable.”
Farrakhan played in 23 games this season, starting in five of them. He averaged 7.7 points per game, shooting about 41 percent from the field. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
