Tucker DeVries, son of newly named WVU men’s basketball head coach Darian DeVries has officially entered the transfer portal Wednesday.
DeVries, a 6-foot-7 guard/forward averaged 21.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game this season for Drake, where he shot 44.4% from the field and 33.9% from three. He was a back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year.
Joining his former teammates, DeVries is yet another Bulldog to enter the portal after his father departed from Drake. He is expected to follow his dad to West Virginia.
