Tyler Allen is expected to be the new quarterbacks coach at West Virginia.
According to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, WVU is promoting Allen from within the program to the quarterbacks coach role, having been with the program as a GA and an analyst as well as a special assistant to the head coach this past season.
This comes after on Saturday night, WVU’s QB Coach Sean Regan left to take the offensive coordinator job at Troy.
Allen has previously been the QB coach at Jacksonville State, in 2020 and helped Zion Webb be named to the First Team All-Conference honors at quarterback.
Allen and head coach Neal Brown go back to Brown’s days at Troy, where Allen was a GA there and worked primarily with the quarterbacks.
