Former West Virginia Football standout Noel Devine expressed disappointment in his son Andre not getting signed by West Virginia or any school on National Signing Day.

In a social media post, Devine said, “Looking to find my son a home. It’s sad to see what college football has become with this transfer portal. These coaches leave high school kids left behind to get a kid that’s already developed from the transfer portal. Disappointed in WVU football.”

Andre Devine is a running back out of North Fort Myers, Florida. He is from the same high school as his father and is listed as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports.

Devine is listed at 5-foot-8 and 155 pounds. He has been offered by teams like West Virginia, Marshall, and Florida Atlantic.

His father Noel Devine was a five-star recruit coming out of high school and played at West Virginia from 2007-2010. He rushed for over 4,000 yards and 29 touchdowns during his time there.
