West Virginia safety Aubrey Burks was the highest graded safety this past week by Pro Football Focus.
Burks graded out at 93.3 in the win over BYU, which was the highest game grade given to a West Virginia player this season.
That includes a 92.1 grade in coverage, where he was targeted three times but did not allow a catch while recording one pass breakup.
Aubrey Burks has an overall grade of 77.8 on the season, which is the second-highest mark among regular starters on defense behind only Beanie Bishop Jr. Bishop has a 79.3 grade on the season.
Burks has only allowed a 40 percent completion percentage in coverage. He allowed two touchdowns in coverage in Week 1 against Penn State but has not allowed a touchdown since.
