On the defense, the secondary playing poorly in the second half makes sense. Four starters in the secondary played every play of the game. Cutter who was making his first start was on the field for 81 percent of WVU’s defensive snaps. Vesterinen was the most-used lineman, playing 69 percent of the passes.
