7:34- Under 8 timeout and despite how ugly this is for WVU, the Mountaineers are still well within striking distance Kansas State leads by five, but WVU has to help themselves at the free throw line and have to be less careless with the basketball.

11:57- Kansas State took their first lead of the game at 44-42. Everything looks out of sort for West Virginia, but the Mountaineers have things tied at 44-44.
15:00- WVU leads 39-32 after Seth Wilson gets an offensive rebounds and puts back a runner.
18:37- Kansas State makes a pair of free throws and the Mountaineers lead is cut to seven. Jimmy Bell Jr.has three fouls for WVU.
19:35- WVU’s Erik Stevenson picks up his third personal foul. Mountaineers lead 32-21. Stevenson is then assessed a technical foul, his fourth. He has two points and Kansas State now trails by eight.
Halftime: At the half West Virginia leads Kansas State 32-21 The Mountaineers struggled at times to score, but their fast start helped give them an 11-point lead at the break Bell and Wague have a combined 13 points and nine rebounds for WVU.
First Half:
2:55- West Virginia leads 29-20 and the Mountaineers have finally found a resemblance of themselves on offense.
